    We have access to the most prestigious areas of Burgundy and the Rhone. Every year we visit these areas to taste the production of the following properties:
     

              -  In Burgundy: Comtes Lafon, DRC, Rousseau, Meo Camuzet, Domaine Leflaive, Comtes de Vogue,
                 Coche Dury , …

              -  In Rhone Valley : Clos des Papes, Usseglio, Chave, Rayas, …  

  2. Private individuals cellars

    Private individuals cellars are a special and regular source of wines of varied origins. This allows us to buy wines that are virtually unobtainable in the traditional market. The quality of preservation of the bottles that we buy  is subject to rigorous controls to ensure the ultimate satisfaction of our customers.

  3. Professionals                                  

    Depending on market opportunities, we buy part of our wines from suppliers that we have selected for their professionalism.
    We can give you at all times, the right advice and the friendly coaching to help you make the best choice among our references.

 


 



Storage under optimum conditions



All our wines are stored in our cellar in Paris, away from light, at the ideal temperature and in perfect humidity conditions. Upon entry in the “La Cave Des Grands Vins” cellar , all bottles are systematically subject to level measurements and to an assessment of the label quality. The spotted shortcomings of the bottles are reported in our information cards, the bottle you see on our site is the bottle you get home !

 


Reliability

  • Order Status
    You can access the list of your current orders and follow their delivery from any page of the website.
    You know at all times where your package is, and whether the expected delivery date will be met.
    On dispatch of your order, a confirmation email will be sent. It indicates the date of shipping (from our warehouse) and the carrier's package tracking number. Finally, each order is sent along with its original invoice.
    Your website shopping cart is memorized from your last visit to the next:
    You've made your choice but do not want to validate it immediately? No worries! If the product is still available, on your next visit, you will find your cart and selected items back.


  • Inventory Management
    All wines offered on the site are in stock in our cellar. The "La Cave des Grands Vins" stock is reported in real time on the website

 

 

First Class Delivery Service



The product ordered is delivered by the carrier selected by "La Cave Des Grands Vins" to the address on the order form. The choice of delivery method depends on the destination of the items.
As we have already explained, our stock is on hand and its management in real time allows us to offer delivery within 48 or 72 hours in metropolitan France. An order registered before 3pm  is packaged and shipped the following morning (working day)

In cases of unexpected delay, an email will be sent to the customer.
Regarding deliveries outside France, the deadlines vary from destination to destination. We can always be contacted for more information.
On dispatch of your order, an email confirmation will be sent. This message indicates the date of shipping (from our cellar) and the carrier package tracking number.

The selected wines are shipped in special packaging designed to withstand the transportation risks.
The packaging includes a styrofoam box that protects form shocks but also from light and from temperature variations. Our packaging supplier's tests show that the temperature inside the box varies only on average by four centigrade in 48 hours.
