Domaine Gros Anne Vosne Romanée Les Barreaux 2017
Burgundy wine Les Barreaux

A slightly riper nose is derived from the darker side of the fruit spectrum along with plenty of spice and sandalwood nuances. There is a lovely inner mouth perfume to the suave, round and relatively supple medium weight flavors that also terminate in a drying and slightly short finish that flashes a touch of bitter cherry pit character

"A slightly riper nose is derived from the darker side of the fruit spectrum along with plenty of spice and sandalwood nuances. There is a lovely inner mouth perfume to the suave, round and relatively supple medium weight flavors that also terminate in a drying and slightly short finish that flashes a touch of bitter cherry pit character. Again, the dryness isn’t fatal but in this case it’s enough to at least raise a question mark about how gracefully this will age."
