Domaine Le Moine Lucien Pommard 1er Cru 2017
Burgundy wine Les Epenots

Ruby-red. Expressive aromas of black raspberry, dark chocolate, game and musky roast coffee. Lovely subtle flavor intensity and noteworthy finesse on the palate; less sweet than the Bousselots but very suave and solid. Lovely combination of intensity without excess weight. Finishes very subtle and very long

Allen Meadows : 90-93 points

"Here the pretty nose is fresher still with its layered mix of red and dark raspberry scents that are cut with plenty of earth influence. The rich and caressing but attractively punchy middle weight flavors possess evident power on the dusty and youthfully austere finish. This is less likely to be approachable young so at least some patience is advised."
