Domaine Pattes Loup Chablis 1er Cru 2018
Burgundy wine Butteaux

This too is very opulent with a richness and breadth of aromas that is dazzling in their sheer range. Big, powerful, very masculine and exceptionally intense flavors blessed with huge extract but despite the size and weight, this also has the best acid/fruit balance of any of these 1ers plus this absolutely coats and stains the palate

"Here too the nose is quite pungent with its smoky mineral reduction, petrol, sea breeze and pear liqueur aromas. The full-bodied, muscular and concentrated flavors possess very good intensity and verve while displaying very fine depth and persistence. This is definitely 2015 in style but it’s not top heavy plus it will age for years if that’s your preference."
