Bright and spicy (ginger, cumin), with decidedly more vintage-typical acidity in evidence than the corresponding village-level bottlings, this finishes with a bit of extraneous tannin, superficial sweetness, and oak notes, though also welcome sheer length and attractive spice. It should hold up well for at least 6-8 years." (2010)
