Les Vergers is the estate’s Blanc de Blancs: 100% Chardonnay from the "Les Vignes Martin" lieu-dit in Germigny, facing south-east on clay-silt soils, from mass-selection vines planted in 1968. It is fermented in 228-litre oak barrels, with spontaneous fermentations and full malolactic, and bottled unfined and unfiltered. On the 2019 base, it spent 44 months on the lees before disgorgement in November 2023, with a 2 g/L Extra Brut dosage.
The colour is pale straw. The nose mixes citrus, apple, white flowers and a touch of brioche. The palate is dry, taut and precise, with citrus, stone fruit and toast, fine minerality and a long finish. Perfect as an aperitif or with seafood, it can also be kept for a few years.
