A pretty bouquet of raspberries, dried flowers and a classy framing of new oak introduces the 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Village, a medium-bodied, succulent and open-knit, with a generous core of fruit, juicy acids and melting tannins. It will drink well in its youth while the 2016 and 2015 renditions are maturing in the cellar.

An attractively fresh herbal tea-inflected nose offers up a lovely range of various red berries and soft spice wisps. The delicious and nicely vibrant middle weight flavors possess a fleshy mouthfeel while exhibiting reasonably good depth and persistence on the balanced and refreshing finish. This isn’t especially dense and thus should be approachable in its youth if preferred.
