Description of the Domaine Pillot Fernand et Laurent
Les Boucherottes is a premier cru in the south of the Beaune appellation, on the border with the Pommard 1er Cru of the same name, looking over Beaune and its Hospices. From a cool, challenging vintage, the 2024 shows an expressive nose of red and dark fruit, cherry and raspberry, with earthy, forest-floor notes. The palate is caressing and vibrant, with an attractive mid-palate and discreet oak. This is an elegant, easy-drinking Beaune, in a lighter style than the 2023.
"An expressive nose freely offers up its aromas of red and dark pinot fruit, earth and a whiff of humus. The delicious, caressing and nicely vibrant flavors possess a seductive midpalate." (Allen Meadows, Burghound, 89/100)
