The red blends Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, with a touch of Carignan since 2021. The hand-harvested grapes are destemmed; each variety is vinified separately, with a low-intervention approach that preserves fruit and freshness. The wine is aged about 24 months, first in oak barrels and then in tank, and blended before bottling.
The nose combines dark fruit, black cherry, spice and garrigue. The palate is balanced and silky, with fine tannins and lovely freshness, without the heaviness often associated with southern wines. A great Languedoc red, elegant and deep, best given a few years or decanted for an hour if served young.
